Who I visit

People at home

Treatment in your own living room. Ideal if getting out is difficult, or you simply prefer the comfort of home.

Care homes

Regular foot care rounds for residential and nursing homes, with several residents seen in one visit.

Organisations

Supported living, day centres and other healthcare organisations that need a dependable foot health visit.

Treatments and prices

Every visit starts with a check of your feet and a chat about what's bothering you. Home visits are one flat rate, whichever treatments you need.

  • Toenail cutting

Safe trimming and shaping of toenails to reduce discomfort, prevent ingrowing and keep feet healthy.

  • Corns

Small, painful areas of hard skin caused by pressure or friction, often from tight footwear.

  • Fungal nails

Care for nails that have become thickened, discoloured or brittle from a fungal infection.

  • Ingrown toenail care

Relief for a nail growing into the surrounding skin, which can cause pain or infection.

  • Thick and overgrown nails

Reducing nails that have grown too long or thick to manage safely yourself.

  • Callus

Gentle removal of thicker hard skin that builds up from repeated pressure or rubbing.

  • Verruca (plantar wart)

Treatment for this small viral infection on the sole, which can be painful and may spread if left.

Home visits

One flat rate for each person, covering any of the treatments above.

Common questions

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. You can book directly with me by phone, text, WhatsApp or the form on this page.

What's the difference between a Foot Health Practitioner and a podiatrist?

A Foot Health Practitioner provides routine foot care, such as nail cutting, corns, hard skin and fungal nails. Podiatrists are registered with the HCPC and handle more complex medical and surgical foot problems. If I find something that needs a podiatrist or your GP, I'll tell you and explain why.

Can you help if I have diabetes?

Yes, I can provide routine foot care and check your feet for changes. Let me know about your diabetes when you book. If anything needs specialist attention, I'll advise you to contact your GP or diabetic foot team.

What do I need to have ready for the visit?

A comfortable chair, a little space around your feet and good light. I bring sterilised instruments and everything else needed for your treatment.

Can you see several residents in a care home on one visit?

Yes. I can arrange regular rounds for care homes and organisations. Call me to discuss how many residents need treatment and how often.

How much does a home visit cost?

Home visits are one flat rate per person, whichever treatments you need. Care homes and organisations have their own rates, so call me to discuss. I'll always confirm the price before I visit.

Do you work at weekends?

My usual hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. I can visit at weekends for emergencies, at a different rate. Call me to check availability.
